We are currently on the letter Y for Yak and are spending time this week focusing on our numbers and counting. A good thing to do with your kiddos is to use blocks or leggos in increments of ten and ask your children to show you different increments with the blocks. This sets the kids up for basic math and can use this visual to practice addition and subtraction. The kids have been very creative in their play and love making things out of the big blocks in the classroom.
