First Day of School - September 14th

Drop off starts at 8:30am please do not arrive any earlier than that this year. I will be waiting at the East Gate to the Playground...You may park and walk your child up to me or you may drive past and drop them off.

I will take their temperature (inner wrist) and log a quick health check as well as the name of the adult dropping the child off.

Children will play on the playground until all students arrive.

What should your child bring?

A backpack with a small snack, lunch and water bottle as well as a change of clothes. Please do not send any other items (toys, stuffed animals, etc.) from home.

What should you bring?

If you have not paid your $40 registration fee and $25 supply fee please bring that along with your child's September tuition payment of $225. If you have not mailed or given me your child's enrollment papers please bring those as well as your family contract signed and dated (I'm emailing these out along with the link to this blog).

After September, tuition payments will be due by the 10th of each month. 

What will our day look like?

This is new territory so the first week or so the kids and I will figure out what works best for our group. I anticipate being outside from 8:30am until close to lunch with the exception of a potty and handwashing break prior to our snack time around 10am. 

Lunch time will probably take place around 11:30am along with a storytime. After this we will head back outside to end our day.

Please note that this schedule will change with weather, we will try all year long to be outside as much as possible but we have the space inside with a stable group of 10 to move indoors if this winter is too stormy.

Volunteering

Each day I will have 1 family member helping out, however, this will look a lot different from prior years. It is mandated that all adults must wear a mask while around the children. While we are outside, you will be another set of eyes and assist me with anything I may need for the children, exploring campus or with emergencies. While we are inside you are free to clean up outside, help me with small tasks in the back room, read, work on your own things or even leave for a short time to run errands. Again, this will change with the weather and I will always update helpers on a daily basis what the needs are. Once we are finished in the classroom and move outside to end our day I will have the helper sanitize inside...there will be a check off list provided.

Pick Up happens at 12:30pm, please arrive on time. We will be at the same East Entrance Gate. You may park (please park to the South of the playground and walk to the East Gate or you may drive up to get your child. I will be recording the adult picking the child up as well as the time. Please be prompt as I have children at home that I am trying to homeschool this year. If you need to talk to me about something I suggest scheduling a time or using email or text. Thank you!
