Friday Update
Important Dates
9/19 - Saturday - PUD Fundraiser at 10:30am
Every year our local Electric Company, Central Lincoln PUD, invites local nonprofits to wash the work vehicles at the offices located across Hwy 101 from Safeway. Our first one of the school year is tomorrow, typically we have 3-5 a year depending on the other organizations participating. They provide the supplies, we provide the labor (usually about 30 minutes or so) and earn $180. Children are allowed to come and the PUD asks that all adults wear masks, thank you!
First Day of School
Monday, 9/21, Remember to bring your child's September Tuition Payment of $112.50 and if you have not paid their $40 registration fee or $25 supply fee bring that as well. If you have forgotten what you have paid thus far please text me and I can let you know. Please remember to bring their enrollment packet and contract as well. If you plan on coming to the PUD fundraiser you can bring everything at that time!
Drop off takes place starting at 8:30am, I will be waiting near the East entrance to the playground please remember to send your child with a backpack that includes their snack, lunch and a spare set of clothes. Also, please explain to your child what they have for snack and lunch so they know what to get from their backpack when the time comes, thank you!
Each school day please check the weather and dress your child appropriately, we will spend as much time outside as possible. Also, every child has a rain suit at the school that we will utilize as well. Once the rain starts I recommend rain boots as the ground can get quite wet and muddy!
9/21-10/1 Cleaning Schedule

Cleaning the classroom at the end of school each day is part of the guidelines for our Emergency Reopening Approval, in the past we have always had parents clean the class each day so this is not too different from what we already practiced. The cleaning can begin at the end of the day, 12:30pm or later, whatever works best for families. I'd prefer not to have anyone there past 6pm since I would have to come let you in the building if you chose not to do it right after school.
Ending Thoughts
I was asked by a parent what I would change if the State Emergency orders were lifted and Daycare's/Preschool's had more freedom. We would keep enrollment at 10, however, I would start having families volunteering in the classroom again. Being a cooperative Preschool we've always believed in the importance of family involvement and look forward to getting back to that as soon as we can.
Thank You!
