Back to School!

We are so excited to have school back in session this Fall with some fresh new faces here at Mouse Factory Cooperative Preschool. For the first week of school, we took some time to get adjusted to the classroom and the children's new surroundings. This is a smaller class size this year, but everyone is getting along great and doing well adjusting to the daily schedule. They were excited to be able to check out some of the special areas in the classroom during free play, such as the reading nook, the art space, and dress up! 

 It is so nice to have parents back in the classroom this year! Thank you to all of the parents who made the first week so smooth. The children really feel at home when their parent/guardian joins us in the classroom  and it greatly helps the transition from home to a learning environment. Looking forward to co-oping with the rest of the families in the weeks to come.

In addition, we also celebrated two birthdays this week! We celebrated Chloe's 5th birthday and her sister Paige's 3rd, who has a birthday the following day. The kids had a blast with balloons and confetti cookies, and then expended some energy on the playground. All in all, it was a perfect first week back to school.
