October Week 1 - The Letter C

Happy October everyone!  The chilly weather has arrived in the Pacific Northwest and we are excited for it! We spent a lot of time playing with play dough and running around outside when the outside temps rose a bit.

I introduced the letter C for Cat so we read lots of Pete the Cat stories including the class favorite, Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes. Afterward we colored, cut out and pasted cupcakes to hang in the classroom. We ended the week with Splat the Cat and the Pumpkin Picking Plan and made Pumpkin Patch names. Here is there beautiful artwork that we made this week and is now hanging up in the classroom.
